INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
Contributions of papers (extended abstracts) for conference presentation and proposals
for Mini-Symposia are solicited.
Extended abstracts:
Extended abstracts of papers to be presented at the conference should be submitted in
electronic form to the conference office by
11 March 2005 (new, hard deadline).
They must be in English and should be of ca. two A4 size pages.
Formats should preferably be either PDF or postscript.
Extended abstracts of papers should clearly describe the proposed contents.
The relevance and originality of the contribution must be clearly stated and the
most important references included. Also indicate the preferred topic area
(see CFP).
Mini-Symposia:
Proposals for organising a Mini-Symposium should give the title, outline the scope
and content as well as give an indication of the expected number of contributors.
Proposals should be submitted by e-mail to
parco@ac.uma.es.
DEADLINES
Extended abstracts of papers: 11 March 2005 (new, hard deadline)
Proposals for Mini-Symposia: 11 February 2005 (new, hard deadline)
Notification of acceptance for presentation of papers: 15 May 2005
Submission of draft full papers: 31 July 2005
PROCEEDINGS
Full Papers:
All papers presented at the conference will be refereed for acceptance for
publication in the proceedings. Papers must be presented by one of the authors
who can also respond to questions from the audience as well as reviewers.
Note that presentation of a paper at the conference does not automatically qualify
it for acceptance for publication.
After the notification date of acceptance for presentation of papers to the
conference, a new web from will be activated to submit draft full papers.
Mini-Symposia:
Papers presented as part of Mini-Symposia will be refereed and selected for
publication in the conference proceedings.
Organisers of Mini-Symposia can also make a proposal for the publication of a
Special Issue of Parallel Computing journal on the topic of the symposium.
Papers presented as part of a Mini-Symposium may be considered for publication
in such a Special Issue. Proposals for publishing a Special Issue should be
submitted to the Editor-in-Chief of Parallel Computing journal
(joubert@informatik.tu-clausthal.de).
