Short Bio

Full-time researcher of the Department of Computer Architecture of the University of Malaga within the Doctorate program in Mechatronics Engineering. The research program is focused on the study of parallel programming techniques for large-scale data processing. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering (specialty of Automatic) and a Master's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering, obtaining with it the necessary skills for the study of informatics and robotics systems.

Currently working on several fingerprint processing techniques. In particular, the different parts of the DMC algorithm (nowadays the most accurate fingerprint comparison method among those based only on minutiae) will be analysed in depth. The optimized code is developed using multicore and manycore accelerators (OpenMP and CUDA).
