The Research Group

The Parallel Architectures and Programming research group focuses on new developments to improve the program execution efficiency of high-performance processors and parallel computer systems.

The main emphasis themes are:

• Compiler techniques for code parallelization
• Data locality exploitation
• Microarchitectural support to parallel program execution
• Hardware and hybrid transactional memory
• Code scheduling on multicore processors
• Hardware acceleration
• Parallel algorithms

Our group is involved in the HiPEAC European Network of Excellence on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation.
